When we realized you could spell "Party" with the letters in "Happy Birthday", the invitation idea was easy. SO pleased we could also fit exactly 8 Legos on the bottom...

The giant Legos were made from cardboard boxes (free), sauce cups from the local Smart & Final (very cheap), and spray paint (and a wholllle lot of it).

Fun Lego food included a 'create a Lego food masterpiece' that included all the interesting shapes in Chex Mix, Cheeze-its, Triscuits, Ritz Bitz, Mini Oreos, Mini-marshmallows, chocolate chips, M&Ms....and your choice of spray cheese, peanut butter, or frosting to 'glue' the pieces together
